TOOLING & MOLD MAKING

From Mold Design to Production-Ready Tooling

Plastic injection molds and production tooling built with real manufacturing conditions in mind.

Fitmold supports tooling and mold making from early mold design review to material selection, precision machining, mold assembly, trial, and production preparation. Our work focuses on building molds that are not only accurate on the drawing, but stable, serviceable, and ready for consistent production.

MOLD ENGINEERING & TOOLING PROCESS

Tooling Support From Design Review to Mold Trial

A reliable mold depends on more than machining accuracy. Part structure, steel selection, parting line, gate position, cooling layout, ejection, sliders, inserts, polishing, texturing, and trial feedback all affect the final production result. We review these details together so tooling decisions are made with manufacturing, maintenance, and long-term production stability in mind.

Mold Design Engineering

Before mold manufacturing begins, we review the part structure, parting line, draft angle, wall thickness, gate location, ejection method, cooling layout, inserts, sliders, and potential molding risks. The purpose is to make the mold design practical for production, not just complete as a 3D model.

Injection Mold Making

Fitmold provides prototype support for checking part structure, dimensions, fit, function, and appearance before mass production. Depending on the project, prototypes may be produced by CNC machining, 3D printing, soft tooling, or other practical trial methods.

Mold Trial and Tooling Optimization

After mold assembly, trial molding helps verify part dimensions, appearance, filling balance, shrinkage, deformation, ejection, and production stability. Based on trial results, we adjust the mold, optimize molding conditions, and prepare the tooling for reliable small-batch or mass production.
