Its working conditions
(1) Compared with other molds, the working conditions of die-casting molds are very bad. Because of the different die-casting metals, they must withstand the high pressure of 150MPa~500MPa.
(2) When working, it is often in contact with molten metal of 300 ° C ~ 1000 ° C. The pouring temperature of different die casting alloys is shown in Table 1. And the heating and cooling are repeated repeatedly, and the temperature gradient along the section is large.
(3) When the mold working cavity receives molten metal contact at a high speed of 150m/s to 70m/s, severe wear will occur.
(4) Under the action of liquid metal scouring and etching, the cavity is easy to adhere to the surface of the mold cavity (especially the aluminum alloy is more prominent), and even penetrates into the die face or chemically changes with the die face metal to corrode the die. surface.
